Football Recap: Eastern Takes Down Ranked Roosevelt + How To Watch

Eastern faced Roosevelt in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Ramblers had just enough and edged out the Roughriders 16-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ramblers have posted against the Roughriders since October 13, 2018.

Although Roosevelt took the loss, they still got scores from Jamal Gilmore and Gabriel Hudgens.

The win (which was Eastern's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.8 points over those games. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
