Live Oak piles up the points against James Lick

The Live Oak Acorns's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They claimed a resounding 73-30 victory over James Lick on the road. Live Oak's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Austin Jennings continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Live Oak's points. Jalen Henry was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Live Oak's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for James Lick, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Live Oak won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pioneer at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Pioneer is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for James Lick, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Ann Sobrato at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Ann Sobrato is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
