Basketball Recap: Desmet's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only DeSmet walked away with it. They put the hurt on Estelline/Hendricks with a sharp 53-29 victory on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for DeSmet, bringing their record for this year to 15-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Estelline/Hendricks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

DeSmet will square off against Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Estelline/Hendricks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
