Basketball Recap: Snake River Takes a Loss

Snake River lost against Marsh Valley last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Snake River Panthers took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marsh Valley Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Eagles are ranked 65th).

Snake River's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Marsh Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-11.

Coming up, Snake River will challenge Teton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marsh Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
