Soccer Recap: Waterford Takes a Loss

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Waterford was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 8-1 to the Desert Hills Thunder. Izel Zavala was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Desert Hills, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Waterford has already played their next matchup (against Millard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Desert Hills, they will welcome Crimson Cliffs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
