Basketball Recap: Fairmont Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairmont can now relate to. They took a 66-50 bruising from the Jackson County Central Huskies on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Huskies are ranked 34th).

Fairmont's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Jackson County Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

As of now, neither Fairmont nor Jackson County Central have any future games scheduled.
