Buckeye Trail took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Tuscarawas Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors won by a set and slipped past the Trojans 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Vayda Neuhart paced Buckeye Trail's offense, picking up ten kills. Neuhart got some help from Anna Mcvicker and her 13 assists. Avery Wayble controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the loss, Tuscarawas Valley still got an impressive performance from Leah Howard, who had 16 digs and one assist. Howard is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.
