Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evangel Christian). They really took it to the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-35 win. The Lightning have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Evangel Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Bugnar led the charge by going 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Blackman, who posted nine points.

The victory made it two in a row for Evangel Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Evangel Christian will host Rocket City at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. Evangel Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they will venture away from home to face off against East Central HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
