With a playoff win on the line, South Lamar rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Pickens Academy Pirates on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Stallions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

South Lamar's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-16. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pickens Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season.

As of now, neither South Lamar nor Pickens Academy have any future games scheduled.
