Softball Game Preview: Dimond Lynx vs. South Anchorage Wolverines

For the second straight game, Dimond will face off against South Anchorage. The Lynx will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Wolverines at 5:45 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Dimond 4.1, South Anchorage 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Dimond is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: South Anchorage, who was ranked first at the time (Dimond was ranked fifth). The Lynx fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lynx have suffered since May 31, 2024.
