Apalachee won the last time they faced Oconee County and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats managed a 53-47 win over the Warriors. The 53-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Hall, who posted 15 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Max Harmelink, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

The victory got Apalachee back to even at 3-3. As for Oconee County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Apalachee won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Flowery Branch at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oconee County, they and Towers will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. The Warriors will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 84 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
