Basketball Recap: Saranac Lake Takes a Loss

Saranac Lake and Saranac squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Saranac Lake had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Saranac Spartans and fell 80-13. The Red Storm just can't catch a break and have now endured 17 losses in a row.

Ashlyn Tomaszewski was Saranac Lake's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Saranac Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Saranac, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Saranac Lake nor Saranac have any future games scheduled.
