Softball Recap: West Middlesex Big Reds vs. Lakeview Sailors
West Middlesex can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They blew past the Lakeview Sailors 8-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West Middlesex also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
Lila Kimmel made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk). Kimmel was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, West Middlesex got a massive performance out of Harper Nickel, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Julia Thornton was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
