Baseball Recap: Yorkville Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Yorkville and Oswego East, and Yorkville kept the tradition alive. The Foxes skirted past the Wolves 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Foxes: when they faced off against the Wolves on Tuesday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Yorkville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-12-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.25 runs across that stretch. As for Oswego East, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.

Looking ahead, Yorkville will head out on the road to take on Waubonsie Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Oswego East, they will host Oswego at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
