Soccer Game Preview: Spring Hill vs. Giles County

The Spring Hill Raiders will square off against the Giles County Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Spring Hill fell victim to Independence and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Spring Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Independence are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Giles County was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. Neither they nor Franklin Christian Academy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. Giles County's draw makes their record 8-6-2 this season.

Spring Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Giles County in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 3-1. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
