Basketball Game Recap: Innovations International Ambassadors vs. Amplus Academy Archers

If the Innovations International Ambassadors were riding high off their 73-47 takedown of the Mountain View Christian Saints last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Innovations International took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archers on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Innovations International in their matchups with the Archers: they've now lost three in a row.

Amplus Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cody Clark out in front who scored 17 points. Clark hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of DaJon McGinnes, who scored 14 points.

Innovations International's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Amplus Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Innovations International will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. American Heritage Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Amplus Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clark knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully the Archers like a good challenge.
