Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask New Hanover). They walked away with  a   12-8  win over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves  on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the  match before.
The  victory (which was New Hanover's third in a row) raised their record to 9-4. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Ridge, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record  this season.
 New Hanover didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  4-0  victory against North Brunswick on the 4th. As for Cedar Ridge, they will take on Western Alamance at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
