Basketball Game Preview: Santiago Sharks vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

Santiago is 0-10 against Roosevelt since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Santiago Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Santiago was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to Centennial.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt entered their tilt with Etiwanda on Saturday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 75-51 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 21-1.

Santiago took a serious blow against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 86-37. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Santiago was down 62-22.
