Baseball Recap: Oregon's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Oregon and Rock Falls meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Hawks took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Oregon's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Rock Falls, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.

While Oregon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
