Volleyball Recap: Midwest Central Takes a Loss

Midwest Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rushville-Industry Rockets. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Midwest Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Rushville-Industry, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.

Midwest Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Beardstown on the 11th. As for Rushville-Industry, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Riverton on the 11th.
