Collinwood not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2024. They put the hurt on the Hughes Lions with a sharp 12-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Collinwood and bumps their season record up to 4-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Hughes, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinwood will head out to challenge Giles County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hughes, they will venture away from home to square off against Adamsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
