Softball Recap: Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

Myrtle Beach fell victim to North Myrtle Beach and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 10-0. The Seahawks just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Myrtle Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shianne Needle, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for North Myrtle Beach, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.

Myrtle Beach will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will challenge Lakeview at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
