Basketball Recap: Felicity-Franklin Takes a Loss

Felicity-Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the West Union Dragons, falling 62-14. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.

West Union's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madison Stout led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave Stout a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Mcintosh, who posted 17 points along with six boards and four steals.

Felicity-Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Union, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.

Felicity-Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Union has already played their next matchup (against Lynchburg-Clay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
