There's no place like home for Hampton, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They claimed a resounding 45-0 win over the Woodland Wolfpack. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.

Hampton's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Breyden Shingles, who rushed for 105 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Shingles has become a key player for the Hornets: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another rusher making a difference was Aiden Louis, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hampton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Hampton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Woodland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
