Despite the loss, Kacie Shinmoto was still balling out as she went 10 for 21 on her way to 25 points and four steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was her 11th in a row with two or more steals. This season, she has averaged 17.7 points, 3.6 steals, and 4.2 assists.

Shinmoto and Kennedy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Park at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. The Cougars got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers, probably because Shinmoto had a solid game then too: she went 13 of 19 en route to 33 points along with eight boards and four steals.
