Basketball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

The Lakeview Huskies came up short against the Academy for Business & Tech Gators on Friday, falling 47-24. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Huskies came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Gators are ranked 683rd).

Lakeview has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Academy for Business & Tech, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9-1.

Lakeview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-24 loss against Anchor Bay on the 7th. As for Academy for Business & Tech, they will face off against Riverside Academy West at 5:30 p.m. on February 14th.
