Baseball Game Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Roseville Tigers

The Fowler Redcats will venture away from home to challenge the Roseville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fowler comes in on ten and Roseville on seven.

Fowler is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lincoln 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Redcats have posted since April 26th.

Meanwhile, Roseville earned a 9-4 victory over California on Tuesday.

Benjamin Jordan was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Jacob Welch was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Fowler's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Roseville, their win bumped their record up to 22-11.
