New Philadelphia and Dover are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Quakers will challenge the Crimson Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

New Philadelphia took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past West Holmes with a 26-21 win.

Meanwhile, Dover didn't have too much trouble with Madison Comprehensive last Friday as they won 32-17. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crimson Tornadoes.

New Philadelphia now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Dover, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

New Philadelphia strolled past Dover when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 40-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Quakers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
