Volleyball Game Preview: True North Classical Academy Titans vs. Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions

The True North Classical Academy Titans will square off against the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

True North Classical Academy not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Florida Christian. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While True North Classical Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Florida Christian scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Immaculata-La Salle made easy work of Sports Leadership & Management on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Immaculata-La Salle won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-22.

Immaculata-La Salle's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for True North Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

True North Classical Academy skirted past Immaculata-La Salle 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royal Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
