Football Recap: Belchertown Takes a Loss

Belchertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 40-25 to the Pathfinder RVT Pioneers. The Orioles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Coleman Longley threw for 70 yards and one TD. Adam O'Rourke was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Avery Cote rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Belchertown's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Pathfinder RVT, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Belchertown is set to face off against their familiar foe McCann Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Pathfinder RVT will take on rival Monument Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
