Volleyball Recap: Make It 28 in a Row for Shafter + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Shafter had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Righetti Warriors on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Generals, who have now won 28 matches in a row.

While Shafter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-11.

Shafter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Macy Ulloa led the charge by getting ten digs and one assist.

Shafter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 28 consecutive matchups.

Shafter's record is now 32-1. As for Righetti, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 11-17 record.

Shafter has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Kerman on the 30th. Righetti does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
