Game recap: Bradley's four passing touchdowns help Naugatuck best St. Paul Catholic

Naugatuck (Conn.) defeated St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, Conn.) 70-33 while riding the arm of Jason Bradley, who tossed four touchdown passes.

The Greyhounds were up 63-14 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter.

Naugatuck got 12 points from its defense on the way to victory.

Daija Fitzpatrick played well for the Falcons. The sophomore wide receiver caught two touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to six on the year.

When the two teams played each other last season, NHS came away with a 33-6 victory.



The victory was a step in the right direction for the Greyhounds, which was coming off a 21-20 defeat at the hands of Derby in its previous game.

Naugatuck (2-1) will play a Naugatuck Valley - Copper game against Sacred Heart next week, while St. Paul Catholic (0-3) will take on Torrington also in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper game.
