Volleyball Recap: Tulare Union Tribe vs. Dinuba Emperors

Tulare Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dinuba Emperors. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Emperors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on October 4th.

Tulare Union couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Dinuba a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 35-18.

Jiannah Freitas paced Tulare Union's offense, picking up 14 kills. Freitas got some help from Kylah Cordova and her two assists. Jaksyn Freitas controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Emmarie Rico went supernova For Dinuba., getting 28 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Rico has posted since back in September.

Tulare Union's record now sits at 6-25. As for Dinuba, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Tulare Union has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Tulare Western on the 23rd. As for Dinuba, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mission Oak on the 23rd.
