Football Recap: James Nolting and Masin Turner Pace North Mac Defense + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vandalia, North Mac was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Gillespie Miners with a sharp 32-12 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won four in a row.

Kadin Casey had a dynamite game, picking up 58 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in a pair of TDs on the ground.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to North Mac's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by James Nolting and Masin Turner, who racked up all four sacks between them. Nolting has become a key player for North Mac: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one sack, but 1-5 otherwise.

North Mac's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Gillespie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

As of now, neither North Mac nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
