Basketball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

St. John was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 59-48 to the North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] Cougars. The Woodchucks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette], they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

St. John will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Ryan at 3:45 p.m. on December 30th. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Westhope/Newburg at 5:30 p.m. on December 30th.
