Basketball Recap: Branson Takes a Loss

Branson lost against Aurora back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Branson Pirates were dealt a 66-32 loss at the hands of the Aurora Houn Dawgs. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Aurora, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Branson will host Fair Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Fair Grove will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Branson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Aurora, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bolivar at 6:00 p.m.
