Volleyball Recap: Chowchilla Has No Trouble Against Mendota + How To Watch

Chowchilla won the last time they faced Mendota and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tribe put the hurt on the Aztecs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tribe.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chowchilla took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Emily Grissom, who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Grissom wasn't the only good server: Chowchilla was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Chowchilla's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Mendota, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
