Bishop Rosecrans is 5-0 against Catholic Central since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops will get right back to it and host the Catholic Central Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Rosecrans is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season.

Bishop Rosecrans took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Berne Union with a sharp 55-34 win. The Bishops pushed the score to 44-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rockets cut but never quite recovered from.

Bishop Rosecrans got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Lambert out in front who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kohen Harris, who earned nine points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Bishop Rosecrans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Catholic Central posted their closest win since January 26, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Harrison Central 41-39.

Bishop Rosecrans' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Catholic Central, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Bishop Rosecrans beat Catholic Central 67-57 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will Bishop Rosecrans repeat their success, or does Catholic Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
