Basketball Recap: Marion County Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Marion County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed by the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions to the tune of 60-11. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

St. Andrews-Sewanee is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion County will venture away from home to face off against Boyd Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they will head out to square off against Lookout Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
