Soccer Game Preview: MAST Academy vs. Ransom Everglades

MAST Academy hasn't had much luck against Ransom Everglades recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The MAST Academy Makos will face off against the Ransom Everglades Raiders at 4:30 p.m. MAST Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

MAST Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 4-2 to Palmetto.

Florencia Alvarez wasn't going to let Palmetto walk away unscathed as she scored both of MAST Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Ransom Everglades brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand Key West a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

MAST Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2-2. As for Ransom Everglades, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-2.
