Baseball Game Preview: Halifax Wildcats vs. Upper Dauphin Area Trojans

Halifax is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will welcome the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Halifax will be strutting in after a victory while Upper Dauphin Area will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Halifax and Schuylkill Haven, and Halifax kept the tradition alive. Halifax walked away with an 8-4 win over Schuylkill Haven on Monday.

Josh Zahurak was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Brandon Schell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Upper Dauphin Area fell victim to Tulpehocken and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to Tulpehocken. Upper Dauphin Area has struggled against Tulpehocken recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Upper Dauphin Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Halifax, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
