After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gate City, John Battle was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lee Generals with a sharp 51-26 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Trojans have posted since January 15th.

Despite the loss, Lee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailie Hughes posted 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Hughes a new career-high in steals (two). Another player making a difference was Phalicity Pennington, who put up nine points.

John Battle now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
