South Aiken is 8-2 against North Augusta since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Thoroughbreds will welcome the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

North Augusta will be up against a hot South Aiken team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Thoroughbreds came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Aiken. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but South Aiken were the better team in the second half.

They hit Aiken with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zoe Schifer (2), Mikayla Pollina, and Madee Whittle.

Meanwhile, North Augusta kept a clean sheet against Midland Valley on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Augusta.

South Aiken pushed their record up to 9-4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for North Augusta, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-1.

South Aiken was able to grind out a solid win over North Augusta in their previous matchup last Thursday, winning 3-1. Do the Thoroughbreds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellow Jackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
