Volleyball Recap: Mackinaw City Victorious

The Mackinaw City Comets earned a 2-0 victory over the Beaver Island Islanders on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Mackinaw City's win bumped their record up to 15-16-4. As for Beaver Island, they dropped their record down to 3-9-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Mackinaw City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against North Michigan Christian Academy on the 31st. Hopefully Beaver Island paid attention to the Comets' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Comets at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
