Volleyball Recap: Circleville Tigers vs. London Red Raiders

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Circleville can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the London Red Raiders on Thursday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Red Raiders 25-19 in the first set.

Circleville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-14.

Addison Edgington paced Circleville's offense, picking up 17 kills. Edgington got some help from Ally Thornsley and her 19 assists. Kayla Fleck controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

London's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madi Green led the charge by getting seven digs and four aces. That's the most aces Green has posted since back in September. Riley Cremeens was another key player, getting 22 digs and one assist.
