Football Game Preview: Yazoo City Indians vs. Gentry Rams + How To Watch

The Yazoo City Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Gentry Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Yazoo City and 18 for Gentry dating back to last season.

Yazoo City's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Kosciusko on Friday. They had to suffer through a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Whippets. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Whippets are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Gentry lost 32-10 to Greenwood on Friday.

Gentry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Yazoo City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Yazoo City against Gentry when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
