Softball Recap: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Blessed Trinity Titans
Chamblee couldn't beat Blessed Trinity on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Bulldogs came up short against the Titans, falling 15-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 11-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.
Avery D'Auria made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three runs. Ellasyn Bair was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Blessed Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Chamblee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-5 defeat against St. Pius X Catholic on the 13th. As for Blessed Trinity, they will host Johns Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
