Baseball Recap: Asheville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Asheville Christian Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Grace Christian Crusaders on Saturday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Asheville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Grace Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Asheville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian, they will host Hickory Grove Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
