Football Recap: Atlanta Comes Up Short

Atlanta and Winnsboro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Atlanta had to settle for second. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Rabbits have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Atlanta lost, don't look at Jayden Riley. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards and one score, and also picked up 53 receiving yards. Riley showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 68 yards.

Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Winnsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Atlanta nor Winnsboro have any future games scheduled.
