Soccer Recap: Maine West Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in September, Maine West was forced to settle for a draw on Saturday. They and the Lincoln Park Lions finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Maine West's goal came courtesy of Oscar Perez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Maine West's draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-3. As for Lincoln Park, they moved theirs to 8-6-5.

Looking ahead, Maine West will head out to square off against Niles North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Niles North's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lincoln Park, they will be playing at home against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
